Rain rain go away....
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well okay maybe they dont, maybe it's just a way to make everyone feel better about the day either way the rain did not bother these guys at all! When I left Kumeu the rain was pretty heavy but as I got closer to East Auckland it seemed to lighten up the closer I got.
I got to Sarah's mum place and though there was a fine drizzle it hung around for just the right amount of time for us to do our indoor photos and then cleared just at the moment we decided to head out.
The rest of the day was exactly the same. Finished group shots outside - starts raining. Get back from formal photos and sit down in the reception - starts raining. We couldn't have asked for better timing to be fair! I do think though the humidity could have toned itself down just a tad!
Nothing would have stopped the partying, festivities, fun, tears and laughter that these guys had during their beautiful day. Their location was picture perfect. Turanga Creek is a beautiful spot to get married and the fact that the rain lifted so we could make use of the water and the jetty was definitely the highlight for me!
